As some of you have noticed, I haven't been updating the site recently. This is because I'm currently enjoying my mini-vacation before I plunge into nothingness this summer. I have been keeping myself with goings on in the Geekiverse though. I just don't take the time of actually blogging about it. Heh. Anyhoots, It's high-time that the welcome page be updated. So here it is!

On your left is the variant cover for --Get ready for this-- "All-Star Batman and Robin, The Boy Wonder #10" (Yes, that's the title). Drawn by Frank Quitely, artist of the uber awesome All-Star Superman series.

I don't think "Awesome" is the right word to describe Quitely's art. In some ways, the words "Clean" or perhaps even "Nostalgic" might be more appropriate descriptions. It looks somewhat of a fusion between golden/silver age and modern comic book art.. and it's pretty darn good to look at. Now if he could only produce his work on a monthly basis. Tsk Tsk.

All Star Batman & Robin hits stores on April 30, 2008. Incidentally, this is also the release date for Batman #676. The first installment of Grant Morrison's BATMAN R.I.P storyline.

Everytime a Skrull does something evil and says, "He loves you," I keep remembering a Beatles song that goes something like, "He loves you, yeah, yeaaah..."

And I just picked up Captain Marvel # 5 by Brian Reed. Without going into too much, I can confidently say Captain Marvel is STILL a hero and not a traitor.

I don't think that Captain America's back. I'd bet money that's a skrull. Unless Joe Quesada hasn't learned from all that OMD nonsense.

SPOILERS FOR SECRET INVASION #1
Jarvis was the only one that surprised me. Heh. I would have eaten my shorts (No, not really) if Hank Pym wasn't a Skrull! I thought it was a solid first issue.. Super bitin! Anyway, I don't mean to be a party-pooper, but try to resist the urge of divulging white-hot Skrully revelations out of the blue.. Others might not appreciate it. Good thing I already read it before checking in here. Heh.. at the very least, try highlighting spoilers like this ^_^ Thanks! And remember, He loves you..
END OF SPOILERS

Finally! A good site for comics in multiply. :D

@Kenny: Do you mean all the X-books with the Divided We Stand imprint or just one specific title? I'm not a big X-Men fan, but I would say that the mini-series' are just concentrating on the different loose ends that was intentionally left hanging during Messiah Complex. I understand that some of them may seem to be moving at a very slow pace, but personally, I like what they've been dishing out so far (especially X-Force).

Hmm.. lemme guess, the one that's probably weirding you out is Uncanny X-Men. The one where San Francisco's reverting back to the 60's? Yeah, that is kind of weird.. but entertaining enough for my taste. Not really relevant, but I liked seeing the giant Celestial in the park. It's been a while since I've heard from the Eternals. Heh.

@couermalade: Thanks man. I actually tried to fix the things that you mentioned way back. But Multiply gets pretty crazy sometimes so I just thought, the heck with it.. ^_^

@Everyone: Not able to post as often as I'd like. Hopefully I'd be less busy in the following weeks! Geek on!

i just cant commend you enough on how you make this site seem so professional. kudos, man. the navigation bar though doesnt quite complement the red text. maybe you can change the text color to white or something lighter.
